Ying Liu, a Ph.D. student of Prof. Rodica Curtu in the Department of Mathematics, has been awarded a summer internship at Argonne National Laboratory (https://www.anl.gov/). The $12,000 internship is sponsored by the NSF Mathematical Sciences Graduate Internship (MSGI) Program (https://orise.orau.gov/nsf-msgi/). During her summer at Argonne Ying will work with Dr. Hong Zhang on a project that focuses on data-driven discovery of unknown dynamics.
